Parents moving from a one home family to a two-home family are stressed! The last 6 months of a one home family and the first 6 months of a two-home family present all types of challenges. This course walks you through a divorce in Texas, helping you see the different decision points, normal and intense emotions many people feel, and specific needs children and families have during this complex time. Module 1 will be the timeline of a divorce in Texas. States determine the steps of divorces, but having a model to look at allows us to generalize to your area. This timeline will include places that a therapist or coach could support a family and red flags for the need for a higher level of support. Module 2 will generally describe what coparenting looks like with two-homes. Module 3 will describe some of the court involved supports that are available. It is important to know what options are out there and how to access them.
